LIKEWISE GO & DO
Likewise Coffee is wholly owned by Raising a Voice. It was started as a way to sustain the ministry and create a neighborhood meeting space with a safe + welcoming environment for the community of East Knoxville.
Our name is derived from the story of the good samaritan. When asked how does one love their neighbor, Jesus replies by telling the parable, finishing by saying the famous quote, “Go + do likewise.” We want this space to be a place for people to love their neighbors and learn how to be a good neighbor within the Knoxville community.
Our Coffee
Our coffee is roasted in house! At Likewise we strive to have the highest quality and sustainability at the lowest cost to the consumer. We operate with a mindset that focuses on every hand from seed to cup and strive to maintain a sense or responsibility through the process.
Our team is committed to the many places we source our coffee, and is constantly learning and growing in the knowledge of the place as well as the nature of the coffee itself. We are growing and learning through every step of the process, so you can expect that the coffee will always get better!
Raising a Voice
Raising a Voice is an anti-trafficking nonprofit started by Will & Katie Boggs in 2015. Raising a Voice is based in Knoxville, TN. We work with women who are sexually exploited in East Knoxville as well as running other ministries overseas in Argentina, Rwanda, and Kenya.
Raising a Voice’s mission is to end human trafficking through gospel-centered community transformation and global outreach.
